Nursing faculty has designed a unique online RN to MSN that fast tracks associate degree nurses to an advanced general practice master’s degree. This program is an excellent alternative for nurses who do not wish to obtain their bsn and then go on to pursue a nurse practitioner program. Online RN to MSN curriculum has been streamlines so that it can be completed in the same amount or less time than a RN to BSN and includes nursing coursework in evidence-based practice improvement, systems management, nurse leadership, healthcare technology, quality and safety, integrative therapies, and practices for health promotion and healing.

Nursing Accreditation

It is important that your Online RN to MSN is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. RN to MSN specialty practice programs have transitioned to a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree and are currently available on-line or on-campus.

Expand nursing knowledge for health improvement through foundation and federally funded programs of nursing and health care research. We seek discoveries most particularly related to reducing risks and promoting health in vulnerable populations, managing the consequences of aging or chronic illness, and understanding mechanisms to prevent, reduce or treat biological injury.
